Saksons Institute for Child Education Reasearch & Development Trust is amongst India's largest civil society organisations working for the protection of child rights.We currently work in Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Saksons Institute for Child Education Reasearch & Development Trust is known for its innovation, bravery and multi-faceted approaches to the child labour problem. The movement addresses both the root-causes and the horrific symptoms of child labour and trafficking.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Programme Coordinator-Resource Mobilisation is responsible for working under the Executive Director on all aspects of developing and implementing the concerned programme and various projects within the preview of programme. This position will be based in the Delhi.

Minimum Educational Attainment

She//he should be M.S.W/M.A(Sociology, Geography, Anthropology or any other field of social sciences). This position will require significant academic and content knowledge, as well as project management skills.

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Children issues, Child rights and development issues at grass roots
• To manage all fundraising activities of the organization
• To identify fundraising opportunities in line with organisational planning, preparing applications to charitable trusts, grant making bodies and companies, and managing subsequent reporting and relationships with funding partners
• To develop and build strong and effective working relationships with the donors, the media and other external agencies.
• To manage the fundraising section of the website and advise on ways to use the website to support wider fundraising initiatives
• Report to donors
• To manage the fundraising budget, including planning, phasing and forecasting in line with the organisation’s financial procedures

At least 4-5 years of work experience in Development Sector.
